As you reach this barn along the lane you cross Keld Syke, a tributary of the River Eden from which it takes its name. The barn is spacious and modern with large oak beams and stone flagged floors. It provides an up lifting space in which to relax, party and enjoy your holiday.
On a summers day open wide the bi-fold doors and soak in the magnificent view; from the sitting room you look across a large pond with waders and swallows swooping into drink, and beyond to the Pennines and Nine Standards. From the Kitchen you get a different aspect gazing up a secluded rural valley facing west to make the most of the evening sun. In the winter the hills and trees are often white with frost and in the autumn the leaves are a wonderful colour in the nearby woods. All this can be enjoyed from walking straight out of the barn or simply from an armchair as you curl up by the log burner.
